GRANTHAM, Pa. – Men's track and field was in action this afternoon at the Messiah Invitational throughout the day on Saturday. The Lions 4x100, 4x400 and 4x800 relay teams highlighted the afternoon throughout competition.
RESULTS
The 4x400 relay team took fifth in the race with a time of 3:46.42.
Gregory Hammond,
Michael Maley, Fabio Ruffin and
Ravone Edwards beat out three other teams to earn the Lions four team points.
The 4x100 relay team took sixth in the event earning four team points.
Charles McClain,
Ravone Edwards,
Michael Maley and
Cameron Myers combined to finish with a time of 45.66. The time was better than two other MAC member institutions in York and Messiah.
In the 100m dash,
Cameron Myers and
Gregory Hammond represented the Lions performing well in the race. Myers finished with a time of 11.69 and was followed by Hammond who finished with a time of 11.87.
The 4x800 relay team earned a seventh-place finish to take home four team points.

Chris Alvarado,
Patrick LaBrie and
Jordan Patton. The relay team turned in a time of 9:23.76.
Charles McClain took his turn in the 110m hurdles and turned a time of 18.51.
Jordan Patton in the 1500m race and finished with a time of 5:50.38.
Fabio Ruffin competed in the long jump for the first time in the outdoor season this afternoon. Ruffin reached a distance of 5.21m in his second jump of the day.
Tyier Rauch competed in the shotput and reached a distance of 8.31m. The throw was the third and final throw of the afternoon for Rauch.
