BERNVILLE, Pa. – The Lions cup trophy will once again reside at Albright with the teams x-x win over Penn State Berks across the last two days. Albright has won the Lions Cup in each of the last three seasons. Both days of competition were played at Heidelberg Country Club.
Coach Lamm on the team's success, "We got behind today, but we never lost our confidence. With several matches coming down to the 17
th and 18
th holes, it was awesome to see our guys perform so well when the pressure was on. I am happy to be bringing the trophy back to Albright and am very excited to see what the Lions can do in the upcoming MAC Championships."
The Lions were trailing for much of the opening holes before rounding into form late in the day to win the Lions Cup. Albright needed at least three points of the eight points available this afternoon to retain the Lions Cup. The team did just that and more to seal the victory.
