READING, Pa. – Albright Softball (3-29) remained at home for a set of games with the Delaware Valley Aggies (19-14). Following a pair of games, the visiting Aggies would sweep the Lions by scores of 10-0 and 7-0.
Grace Landante looked to spark the Lions offense and recorded her sixth double of the season in game one. The sophomore is currently hitting .280 on the season.
Also picking up game one hits were
Slaydon Fisher and
Sadie Gonzalez.
Kaitlyn Aasheim started game two for the Lions and pitched six of the game's seven innings while
Alexis Laboy pitched a shutout inning in relief.
Six different Lions recorded hits in game two including
Emilie Smith who also showed off her arm strength and threw out a runner attempting to steal second base.
