READING, Pa, – Albright Baseball (19-19) returned home to close their final MAC Commonwealth series of the regular season against Hood (12-27). Following a pair of games, the Lions would follow game one's walk off win with an offensive explosion in game two for a blowout victory to take both games over the Blazers.
Before game one, the team took the time to honor seniors

Roman Berretta,
Aidan Sturtevant,
Hayden McDonald,
Lukas Khandagle and
Lucas Myford.
Game 1:
The Blazers started game one shot out of a cannon and jumped out to a 2-0 lead following the top of the first inning. The Lion's would quickly respond in their half of the first with an RBI single to
Nick Barton to score
Jack Gilmer.
The Lions would then take their first lead of the game in the fifth inning following back-to-back doubles from Gilmer and
Michael Avino to jump out in front 3-2.
Josh Tudor pitched five innings in relief while striking out six batters and allowing only one unearned run in the process to help shutdown the Blazer's offense.
After Hood tied the game in the top of the sixth, the Lion's entered the bottom of the seventh looking to even the series with a walk off win.
Nick Barton did just that and delivered his second RBI of the game to left center field to bring
Jack Gilmer around for his third score of the game in a 4-3 win.
Patrick Ahearn picked up his fourth win of the season in relief.
Game 2:
The Lions wasted no time in game two and ended up with a 9-0 lead after just three innings of play with five runs coming in the first inning alone.

Tying Gorla for the team lead with three hits was
Aidan Sturtevant who came around to score on a
Roman Berretta sacrifice fly.
After Hood punched back with four runs of their own in the fourth, the Lions responded with five more unanswered runs which included three in the seventh inning in a 14-4 win.
Dominic Yeager started on the mound for the Lions and struck out nine batters and battled through 6.2 innings of work in what may have been his final appearance for Albright.
