HAVERFORD, Pa. – Men's and women's track and field turned in solid performances across the board on Saturday afternoon at the Seamus McElligott Invitational.

Men's Results:
Darnell Turner continues to impress for the Lions as he won he second high jump event of the season. Turner cleared a height of 1.85m while the second-place finisher did not advance past 1.65m. The first-year Lion already qualified for the MAC Championships earlier this season figuring to be among the leaders in the conference when the time comes.
Yasim Price and
Cire Wilson competed in the shot put earning distances of 8.55m and 7.15m, respectively.
Women's Results:
Alyssa DeVita,
Yonique Reynolds,
Ava Ramlochan and
Standey Sauveur competed in the 4x200 and turned in a time of 2:01.40.
In the 60m dash, Reynolds and Ramlochan finished in succession of each other with times of 9.15 and 9.20, respectively.
Maizy Aikey finished the 3000m in 11:45.29 to take eighth overall in the event.
In the shot put,
Rayne Edwards reached a distance of 8.28m while
Brenda Kovam reached 7.47m in the same event.
Up Next:
Albright will compete next weekend at the PLEX Shootout at Alvernia. The meet will begin in the morning and run throughout the day on Saturday, January 31.
