READING, Pa. – The Albright men's and women's indoor track and field teams returned to competition on Saturday afternoon at the PLEX Shootout hosted by Alvernia.
MEET RESULTS
Men's Results:
In the 4000m medley relay the quartet of
Jordan Patton, Beyah Rembert, Jr.,
Tyhee Pridgen and
Evan Eisenhardt finished with a time of 12:45.92.
Eisenhardt ran in the 800m and finished with a time of 2:06.92 which resulted in a 22
nd place finish out of 59 runners in the race.
Cameron Myers was solid in the 200m dash earning a time of 25.26.
Darnell Turner, who has already won two events in the high jump this season, placed 15
th today clearing the bar at 1.75m. Turner will competing in the MAC Championships later this winter.
Women's Results:
Alyssa DeVita,
Standey Sauveur,
Aniya Davis and
Maizy Aikey ran in the 4000m distance medley relay and completed the race in 14:31.74.
DeVita would later run in the 400m race turning in a time of 1:07.92. The time was good for 15
th overall in the specific race. DeVita narrowly missed an MAC qualifying mark fall only one second shy of the time needed.
Davis went on to earn a personal best time in the 200m dash finishing in 31.33.
Ava Ramlochan fared well in the long jump reaching 3.78m. In the shotput,
Rayne Edwards and Brendan Kovam represented the Lions. Edwards reached a distance of 7.85m and Kovam 7.79.
Up Next:
The Lions will return next weekend at the Mini-Dip Invitational hosted by Franklin & Marshall College. The meet will begin in the morning and run through the afternoon.
