Men’s Lacrosse Battles Lebanon Valley at Home

The Lions hosted the Dutchmen on Wednesday evening in a MAC crossover matchup.

READING, Pa. - Albright Men's Lacrosse (0-3) was back in action against the visiting Lebanon Valley Dutchmen (2-1). The Dutchmen played well and were able to escape Shirk Stadium with a 21-5 road victory.

Nick Antonio led the Albright offense on the day. Antonio picked up two goals as well as firing six shots. Justin Moroney would also pick up two goals on the afternoon on four shots. Antonio and Moroney each collected two ground balls.

Nate Howe scored his first career goal for the Lions. He fired two shots goalward and also collected two ground balls on the day.

Kamar Daniels picked up three ground balls and Semaj Moyd collected two ground balls along with firing a shot at goal.

Brandon Jones would lead the way for the Lions on defense grabbing six ground balls as well as causing a turnover.

Brady Etzkorn got the start in the cage for Albright and brought in 11 saves. Nick Genovesi was called on in relief and picked up four saves.

The Lions head on the road up to Doylestown to face Delaware Valley on Saturday (2/28). The game is set to start at 1 p.m..
