DOYLESTOWN, Pa. – Men's Lacrosse (1-3) traveled for the first time this season to take on Delaware Valley (0-2). Following four quarters of play, Coach Stump's crew would leave with a solid 10-7 victory.
Justin Moroney got things started for the Lions and scored the first of his three goals on a man up situation. Moroney was one of three Lions with multiple goals and finished with four points.
Derek Hanson and
Nick Antonio would also score in the first half, allowing the Lions to lead 3-1 at halftime. Hanson led the team with four goals and a pair of assists to finish with six points while Antonio found success on both ends of the ball and recorded three assists and a caused turnover.
Kraig Sullivan found Antonio for the first goal of the second half while
RJ Ellerbee helped keep momentum well in the Lions' favor, winning 12 of his 20 faceoff attempts.
After both teams traded blows in the fourth quarter, the Lions would go on to outscore the Aggies 4-2 which would be enough to ultimately hold on for the win.
Aidan Graczyk scored the final goal of the game for Albright to put them up 10-6 firmly in the driver's seat with just over two minutes remaining.
Brady Etzkorn earned his first collegiate victory and made 11 saves in the process.

Brandon Jones and
Ryan Conover brought the heat defensively and each recorded a caused turnover while combining for five ground balls.
