Women’s Lacrosse Cruises to 22-3 Victory; Zoe Dicks Sets Two Program Records

Women’s lacrosse scored early often on Saturday afternoon downing Mount Saint Vincent by a final score of 22-3. Zoe Dicks broke the single game assists and points record in the process.

READING, Pa. – Women's lacrosse (5-2) rolled Mount Saint Vincent (0-3) 22-3 on Saturday afternoon on the Lions home field. Zoe Dicks tallied seven assists and 13 points to set the new program record in each category in a single game.

The Lions scored at least four goals in every period. In the opening 15 minutes Albright built their lead to 8-2. Mount Saint Vincent was shut out by Albright in the second period giving the Lions a 12-2 lead after 30 minutes.

Albright's first four goals of the game were all assisted. Dicks tallied three assists on those four goals. By halftime Dicks tied the program record with assists in a game having six.

With the game being well in favor of the Lions, Albright scored 10 more times in the second half to secure the 19-goal victory over the visiting Dolphins.

Five different Lions scored at least three goals in today's game. Dicks led with six and was followed by Olivia Ball and Riley Basht who each had five. Madison Wood and Paige Lipp each ended the day with three goals.

For Dicks and Ball, the goal totals were each good for a career high. Albright dished out nine total assists as a team with seven coming from Dicks and one each by Anna Bien and Lipp.

Two program records fell today at the hands of Dicks. The seven assists and 13 total points are both good for new program records. Additionally, Dicks is sitting on 99 career points and figures to enter the 100-point club next time out.

The Lions were dominant in the draw control game, having 20 to the Dolphins six.

Kylee McCauley-Kriegsman picked up her fifth win of the season for the Lions in goal.
