Dicks Surpasses 100 Career Points: Women’s Lacrosse Falls on the Road to Lebanon Valley

The Lions faced Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom member Lebanon Valley College on Wednesday afternoon. The Dutchmen protected home field, winning by a final score of 15-4.

ANNVILLE, Pa. – Women's lacrosse (5-3) went on the road on Wednesday afternoon squaring off against Lebanon Valley College (5-3) in a Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Commonwealth Freedom crossover match. The Dutchmen left with a 15-4 victory. Zoe Dicks surpassed 100 career points, adding to her already impressive season
 
Dicks recorded her 100th career point in the opening minutes of today's game. Dicks 100th career point came on assist seeing Olivia Ball tally the goal. Dicks is sitting on 102 career points and became the 12th player in program history to achieve 100-career points.
 
Today's game was originally scheduled to be played on the campus of Albright College. Due to inclement weather that rolled through Reading earlier in the week the game was moved to the campus of Lebanon Valley College.
 
The next three games for the Lions will come against teams in the MAC Freedom division. Arcadia and Delaware Valley are next on the schedule for the Lions.
 
The Dutchmen entered halftime with an 11-3 lead. Lebanon Valley's Kyla Hebert scored six first half goals for the Dutchmen.
 
Albright was looking to find their rhythm in the second half. The Lions held LVC scoreless in the third quarter and got a goal back from Riley Basht in the frame on a free position. In the end the halftime deficit was too much to overcome.
 
Ball led the way offensively, scoring two goals.
 
Riley Basht and Dicks each scored once while Dicks dished out two assists for three points.
 
Six different Lions recorded at least one caused turnover. Basht was credited with a team high four ground balls and was followed by Courtney Futrick and Madison Wood who each had three ground balls.

The Lions will host Arcadia on Wednesday, March 25. The game is set to begin at 6:00 p.m.
