Women’s Lacrosse Downs Delaware Valley 15-6

In the teams final non-conference game of the season, Albright topped Delaware Valley 15-6 on Saturday afternoon picking up their sixth win of the season.

DOYLESTOWN, Pa. – Women's lacrosse (6-4) played in their final non-conference game of the season on Saturday afternoon traveling to Delaware Valley (4-6) in a Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Commonwealth Freedom crossover battle. Albright won the contest 15-6.

The win today gives the Lions one more win than they had all of last season. With the conference slate still to be played, the six wins are the most in a season since 2023.

With the Lions leading 4-3 at halftime the team turned it on in the second half to beat the Aggies by nine. Albright scored 11 second half goals to just three from Delaware Valley.

In the second half Albright scored five straight goals spanning the third and fourth periods to go up 9-3. The Lions then scored the game's last four goals to win comfortably.

Zoe Dicks was fantastic once again, scoring five goals and dishing out five assists. The game marks the second this season where Dicks has finished with at least 10 points. After entering the 100-point club earlier this season, Dicks has moved into 10th all time with 115 career points to date.

Riley Basht scored three goals today having eight such games this season scoring three or more goals. Basht is sitting on 89 career points closing in on becoming the 13th player in program history to enter the 100-point club.

Paige Lipp, Madison Wood and Olivia Ball each scored twice while Anna Bien also found the back of the net.

Defensively the Lions were led by Dicks who caused four turnovers and collected six ground balls and five draw controls. Bien caused two turnovers and collected seven ground balls.

Kylee McCauley-Kriegsman made the start and goal and earned her sixth win of the season making five saves.
