NEWTOWN, Pa. – Enrico Pucci (Men's Tennis), Michelle Timothy (Women's Tennis) and Filip Hjerten (Men's Golf) were all named Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Commonwealth Players of the Week for their respective sports.

Pucci went undefeated in singles and doubles play to lead the Lions to a 2-0 week. He secured identical 6-2, 6-0 singles wins against both Marymount and Stevenson. Overall Pucci has won his last three singles matches in a row and claimed his second Player of the Week honor of the season.

Men's Tennis has won their last three matches overall outscoring their opponents 20-0 during the three-match win streak.

Timothy wrapped up another undefeated week claiming her fourth Player of the Week honor of her career. Timothy plays as the Lions #2 and won this week 6-1, 6-0 against Marymount and 6-0, 6-0 against Stevenson.

Women's tennis has won their last four matches overall without dropping a single court. During the four-match win streak Albright is outscoring their opponents 26-2.

Hjerten claimed his first career Player of the Week honor for his strong play at last weekends DeSales Spring Classic. Hjerten fired round of 73 and 74 to place solo second overall. The sophomore made four total birdies on his way to his best ever finish as a collegiate golfer.

Men's and women's tennis will return to action on Thursday, April 2 against Moravian. Men's golf will compete again on Thursday, April 2 at the Elizabethtown Invitational.
