DOYLESTOWN, Pa. – Softball (8-11) went on the road for their fifth and sixth straight games on Tuesday matching up against Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Freedom member institution Delaware Valley (14-3). The Aggies got the better of the Lions winning both ends of the double header.
Game 1: L, 4-0
Delaware Valley plated three runs in the first inning and added another in the fifth. The first inning scoring output would be all the Aggies needed to secure the win.
Madison Lasko collected two hits while also reaching base on a walk. For Lasko it marked her fourth multi hit game of the season.
Juliette Licata,
Grace Landante and
Mya Frana rounded out the hits for the Lions in game one.
Game 2: L, 9-2
The bats stayed hot for the Aggies, scoring five runs across the first two innings, going on to win the second game of the day.
Albright scored twice in the sixth inning looking to get back in the game.
Slaydon Fisher and Landante recorded back-to-back RBI doubles. Both hits came with two outs in the sixth inning.
Fisher finished the game with two hits and a run scored. The junior picked up her sixth multi hit game of the season. Landante recorded a hit in each game today raising her season average to .317.
Frana went 1-3 with a run scored giving her a hit in three of her last four games.
