ALLENTOWN, Pa - Baseball (11-11-1) took the road up to face Muhlenberg College (6-13) in a non-conference battle. The Mules would ride a hot start and come away with a 11-7 home victory over Albright. The Lions and Mules split the season series with both teams winning at home.

Muhlenberg got off to a hot start and jumped out to a 9-0 lead in the bottom of the first. 

The Lions began to claw back into the game in the second inning. Aaron Fleetwood would reach on an error and be followed by a Christian Eckstein two run single to give Albright three runs of their own. 

The Mules would add another run in the third to leave the score at 10-3.

Albright would quickly respond again in the top of the fourth. Tommy Lewman drew a bases loaded walk and was followed by another two RBI single this time off the bat of Chris Gorla. Lewman would come all the way around to score on a wild pitch and cut the lead down to three at 10-7. Lewman leads the Lions with 22 RBI on the season and still holds an outstanding 1.354 OPS. 

The Lions would get no closer as Muhlenberg would add another run and the game would finish 11-7 in favor of the hosts. 

Gorla, Eckstein, Michael Avino and Tyler Boccelli all had multiple hits for Albright.

Ryan Hardisky, Patrick Ahearn and Josh Tudor all pitched scoreless innings out of the bullpen for the Lions.
