CHESTER, Pa. – Women's lacrosse (7-7, 1-3 MAC Commonwealth) went on the road on Wednesday afternoon squaring off against the Widener Pride (8-6, 2-2 MAC Commonwealth). Widener won tonight's game by a final score of 17-3.
The Pride jumped on the Lions early, scoring nine first quarter goals and would ultimately take a 14-1 lead into halftime. The Pride were able to close out the Lions from there to get back to .500 in conference play.
Paige Lipp finished with two goals to lead the offense while also dishing out an assist for three points. Lipp now has nine games this year where she has scored multiple times.
Riley Basht tallied a goal to bring her career point total to 98.
Anna Bien finished with one assist which came on Lipp's second goal of the game.
Bien and
Kaila Clark were each credited with three caused turnovers each. Clark added two ground balls to her overall stat line.
Madison Wood and
Olivia Ball each finished with three draw controls. Wood added three ground balls which led the team on the evening.

Women's lacrosse will host York College on Saturday afternoon beginning at 12:00 p.m. The game will also serve as the team's senior day.
