READING, Pa. – Men's tennis won the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Commonwealth tournament over Messiah 4-0 to qualify for the NCAA Tournament for the first time in program history. The Lions will play North Carolina Wesleyan on Friday, May 8 on the campus of North Carolina Wesleyan.

Albright is set to make their first ever appearance in the NCAA Tournament after winning their first conference championship since 1998.

The Lions had a historical season seeing the team go perfect in conference play ending the 2025-2026 season with a 15-4 overall record. Albright is currently riding a 10-match win streak and has not dropped more than one court in a single match since March 13.

On Monday, May 5 Albright was rewarded for their strong season seeing five total Lions placed on All-MAC Commonwealth Team. Renato Orsi was named Player of the Year and Miranda Brown was named Coach of the Year for the second time in her career.

North Carolina Wesleyan is the host site for the first round and weekend matchups. Albright will play the hosts in the first round, who are ranked #38 nationally.

North Carolina Wesleyan played to a 14-8 overall record and a 5-0 mark in USA South Athletic Conference Play. The Battling Bishops have qualified for the NCAA Championships in every season since the 2011-2012 season
