CHESTERTOWN, Md. — Men's tennis opened their season at the Washington College (Md.) Tournament by going 10-5 on the day. They saw action from Washington College (Md.) (WC), Drew University (D), St. Mary's College (StM) and Division II Millersville University (M).

David Garces Cifuentes went 2-0 in singles play. In his first match against Alex Lyman from St. Mary's College, he went 6-1 and 6-3. In his second singles match, he took on Nick Weglinski from Drew University, winning the match over two sets, 6-2 and 6-1.

Matias Contreras, Adam Good, Marcelo Menchaca, Renato Orsi, and Nicolas Vallejo all saw one singles match in the tournament and came home with wins.

In doubles action, the Lions saw themselves going 3-3 on the day. In dominant fashion, Contreras and Good paired up to earn themselves a clean sweep against St. Mary's College.
