LANCASTER, Pa. – Men's soccer (4-2-1) traveled for a match with the Diplomats of Franklin and Marshall (3-3-1). 90 minutes of physical play saw the Lions pick up their fourth straight win, all of which have been shutouts.
The game's lone goal came from
Brady Divito off an assist from
Gael Velazquez in the 30
th minute. Divito tied for the team lead with three shots and has been a driving force for the Lions this season.
While only one goal was scored, the match featured no lack of offensive effort from the Lions who put up 10 total shots.
Alexis Zurita-Jimenez tied Divito with three shots of his own off the bench providing a much-needed spark.
Also contributing to the offensive output were
Zach Fratrik,
Gael Velazquez,
Jose Serrano and
Gideon Fasanya.
Mike Lawry turned in another outstanding performance in net stopping all seven shots he faced and has made 19 saves throughout the team's winning streak.
