Jeremy Grim is in his third season with the Albright College football staff after serving as a volunteer assistant in 2013. He will coach defensive tackles this fall.
He spent the previous 10 years coaching local high school football, including five seasons at Downingtown East. He was the defensive coordinator from 2010-12 and the defensive line coach for two seasons before that, helping the school to Chest-Mont championships in 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2012.
From 2005-07, Grim was a defensive/strength coach for Reading High School, including defensive coordinator duties from 2006-07.
In 2003-04, he was co-defensive coordinator at Governor Mifflin High School. The team won the Inter-County League and Eastern Conference in 2004.
Grim played for Division II Bloomsburg University from 1993-96, where he was a two-time all-conference selection at defensive end. The Huskies won three PSAC East titles during Grim's career and qualified for the 1996 NCAA tournament.
Grim graduated in 1996 with a degree in business economics from Bloomsburg, and later earned a master's degree in multi-cultural education from Eastern University.
He has taught in both the Downingtown and Reading school districts, and is currently an 8th grade mathematics teacher at Downingtown Middle School.
Grim lives with his wife Rachel and their three children- Sydney, Ethan and Kaitlyn.
