Kamar Jorden

Kamar Jorden joins Albright College in 2025 as the wide receivers coach.

Jorden served as the Wide Receivers Coach and Assistant JV Coach at Unionville High School in Kennett Square, PA in 2023. Over the last 9+ years, he has trained pass catchers of all levels across the United States and Canada, most recently in the greater Philadelphia area.

Jorden comes to Albright after a successful 9-year playing career in the Canadian Football League, all with the Calgary Stampeders.

In his time with Stampeders, Jorden is a two-time Grey Cup champion, 4-time conference champion and two-time CFL West All-Star as a wide receiver. As of 2025, Jorden owns the Stampeders’ record for receiving yards in a single game with 249 yards in 2018.

Alumnus of Penn Wood High School, Jorden went on to Hudson Valley Community College where he set the school and conference records for receptions and receiving yards in a single season. Jorden was named to the 2008 All-Northeast Conference First Team as well as the team's Most Valuable Player. He received the athletic department's Thomas Cahill Award as the Male Athlete of the Year. In 2022, Jorden was inducted into HVCC Athletics Hall of Fame.

He continued his college career at Bowling Green State University where he was named back-to-back All-Mid-American Conference (MAC) First Team at wide receiver. He finished his career ranked third all-time in catches and fifth all-time in yards after just two seasons. In 2012, Jorden signed with the Minnesota Vikings as an undrafted free-agent.

Jorden graduated from BGSU with a bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts and is currently studying for his master’s degree in Athletic Leadership here at Albright.

Jorden is born and raised in Darby, Pennsylvania in Delaware County. He has 2 sons, Isaias and Kai.
