Tom Barndt is in his second season as an assistant football coach at Albright College. He will help with the defensive tackles and long snappers.
Barndt is a Navy veteran, having served 12 years. He is married to wife JoAnn and has four children and four grandchildren. His two sons, Josh and Nick, both play for the Lions.
Born in Quakertown, Barndt played his college football at the University of Kansas-Wesleyan, where he was a SWAC All-Freshman team selection. He appeared at both outside linebacker and kicker.
Barndt has 11 years of coaching experience on the defensive side of the ball (six in high school, five in college). He has the rare distinction of having won conference or ECAC championships in each of his 11 seasons of coaching.
