Danielle Ozment is entering her first season in charge of the Albright volleyball program in 2012. She becomes the 11th head coach in program history.
Ozment joined the Albright volleyball staff as an assistant after concluding her collegiate career with the Lions.
Ozment played her final two seasons at Albright after spending two years at Division II Kutztown University. As a senior with the Lions, she led the Commonwealth Conference in kills with 309.
An all-around player, Ozment also led her team in service aces (34) and ranked second on the squad for blocks (37) and digs (359). She earned second team All-Commonwealth honors that season.
A committed student as well, in 2010 Ozment became the first Albright volleyball player to win the MAC Scholar-Athlete award, given annually to one student-athlete in each sport who excels both on the court and in the classroom. She helped her team earn its first American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Academic Team Award in 2009.
Ozment earned the Neal Harris academic excellence award after graduating with a 3.9 GPA in a Psychology/Spanish double-major.
Along with coaching with the J-Stroke club, Ozment has also coached at the Kutztown and Schuylkill Valley High volleyball camps.
