POMONA, NJ - It was a very tough afternoon for the Lions as they faced off against regionally ranked opponent Richard Stockton College, Saturday afternoon in day two of the Stockton Seashore Classic. Currently ranked ninth on the NSCAA South Atlantic Regional Poll, Stockton defeated Albright by the final score of 6-0.
The Lions offense which was held to just four shots in the contest battled an Osrpey offense that combined for 20 shots Saturday afternoon. For Stockton, Pat Tolomeo and Sean Nelson proved to be the biggest deciding factors as they combined for four goals and two assists respectively.
Albright was unable to produce a single corner kick in the match, while Stockton tallied four.
Adam Toroniewski had not only a sensational game, but played extremely well all weekend. His efforts earned him a place on the All-Tournament team.
Men's Soccer returns to action on the Tuesday when they host Gwynedd-Mercy College at 7 p.m. in Shirk Stadium.
