READING, Pa. - Despite not losing a game by more than six points, a team total of 32 attack errors still proved costly as King's College (9-3) defeated Albright (2-7) 3-0 Friday evening in the Bollman Center as part of the 2009 Albright College Invitational.
The evening got off to a rough start for the red and white as they were defeated by the visiting Monarchs by the score of 25-19. Game two was much closer, but the result was still the same as King's pulled out a 25-21 win. The third and final game was the closest of them as all, but again the night belonged to King's as they snuck by with a 27-25 victory.

Lauren Higgins# tallied an amazing 30 set assists. #
Alyssa Hoogendoorn# led the Lions' defense with three solo blocks, and also had three kills and three service aces.
Women's Volleyball returns to action tomorrow morning when they take on Alvernia University at 11 a.m. followed by a 1 p.m. match against Gwynedd-Mercy College.
