READING, Pa. - The Albright Volleyball team (5-8) showed how strong they really are Thursday evening in the Bollman Center ending Penn State Harrisburg's three game win streak with a 3-0 decision.
Of the three games played Thursday evening the second one proved to be the toughest of them all. Battling back and forth, the Lady Lions managed to take a 29-27 victory to take a 2-0 advantage over the Nittany Lions. In game one Albright cruised to a 25-17 win. They then sealed the victory with a dominant 25-12 victory.
Of the team's top offensive leaders, junior #
Danielle Ozment# totaled 12 kills, four service aces, and 2.5 blocks. Freshman #
Alyssa Hoogendoorn# and sophomore #
Meg Wheeler# combined for an additional 18 kills respectively, and added 4.5 blocks as well.

Kelly Nicodemus# tallied a match high 13 digs, while #
Erin Wentzel# totaled 11 digs of her own. Setter #
Lauren Higgins# tallied a season best 31 digs for the fourth time this year. In just 13 matches played this season, Higgins has totaled 329 assists, which is a career best for her.
Volleyball returns to action this Saturday when they face Washington College (MD) and Stevenson University in a tri-match at Washington College. Start time for the Washington match is scheduled for 1 p.m., followed by the Stevenson match at 3 p.m.
