CHESTERTOWN, Md. - The Lady Lions (6-9) had quite the busy afternoon playing back-to-back matches at Washington College (MD). In their first match of the afternoon, the red and white defeated Stevenson University (7-7) by the score of 3-0. In nightcap, the Lions fell to Washington College (8-6) by the score of 3-0.
Against the Mustangs of Stevenson University, the Lions dominated all three games to earn the shutout victory. In game one, Albright defeated Stevenson by the score of 25-21. Game two was closer, but still saw the red and white take the win with a 25-23 decision. In the final game it was another close one but the Lions held on to take the 25-23 victory.

Danielle Ozment# led the contest with 14 kills on 35 attempts. She also had two aces, 11 digs, and two block assists. Middle #
Cassie Campbell# scored eight kills on 19 attempts and had one block assist. Setter #
Lauren Higgins# toted a three game season high of 35 assists, and also had five digs. Junior #
Kelly Nicodemus# led the defense with a match high 14 digs.
In the second match of the day, Ozment once again led the Lions offense, this time with seven kills. She was once again joined by Campbell who added another six kills to bring her two match total to 14. Higgins tallied an additional 17 assists, and matched the team high 11 digs with Ozment.

Alyssa Hoogendoorn# recorded a total of three blocks (1 bs, 4 ba) in the match, and also had five kills and three digs.
Volleyball returns to action on Monday when they host the University of Scranton on 7 p.m. in the Bollman Center.
