HARRISBURG, Pa. - Albright volleyball had their hands full with their final non-conference opponent of the 2010 regular season. However the red and white managed to hand Penn State Harrisburg a 3-0 loss Saturday afternoon.
In game one, the Lions defeated Harrisburg by the match's largest margin, three points (25-22). Game two was even close as the Lions pulled out a 25-23 win. The final game took some extra effort, but Albright was able to secure the 28-26 win.
Pacing the Lady Lions hard fought victory was the trio of #
Danielle Ozment#, #
Alyssa Hoogendoorn#, and #
Morgan Heath#. The trio combined for 23 kills on the afternoon. Despite a combined 29 attack errors and a .092 hitting Albright was able to battle past Harrisburg to score those crucial match points.

Lauren Higgins# tallied 25 assists to help Albright's cause, while the defense recorded a combined 10 blocks and 64 digs. Heath led the match with 14 digs, while Ozment recorded 12 and #
Kelly Nicodemus# 11. Hoogendoorn was the top blocker totaling three block assists.
Volleyball will return to action on Wednesday when they travel to Alvernia University for their final match of the 2010 season. Start time is scheduled for 7 p.m.
