SELINSGROVE, Pa. - On the final day of the Susquehanna University Hampton Inn Crusader Classic, the Lady Lions (7-13) picked up a hard fought 3-2 win over Washington and Jefferson College and fell in the tournament finale to 22-1 York College (Pa.) by the final score of 3-1.
Earning a spot on the All-Tournament team was senior #
Danielle Ozment# who finished day two with 20 kills and 40 digs respectively.
In the opening match, Albright recorded wins in the first (25-14), third (25-14), and fifth games (15-11), while W&J earned wins in the second (25-18) and fourth (26-24) games. In the opener Ozment scored 16 kills, while #

Casey McFadden# recorded a career-best 35 digs, and setter #
Lauren Higgins# continued her pursuit of the all-time assists record totaling 36 against W&J and 20 against York.
Against York the Lions dropped a 25-13 decision in game one. However they managed to battle right back and take 25-17 win in game two. After that, the Spartans rolled to a 25-8 game three win and a 25-16 game four win. The win over the Lions marked the 21st consecutive victory for York which dates back to September 4.
Leading the Lions offense against the Spartans was #
Laura van Bendegem# with a team-high eight kills. Ozment and #
Morgan Heath# combined for 23 digs respectively, while Hoogendoorn scored a match-high three aces.
Volleyball returns to action on Monday when they host Delaware Valley College at 7 p.m. in the Bollman Center.
