GRANTHAM, Pa. - Looking to get their conference season off to a good start, Albright faced-off against Messiah College in the teams first Commonwealth Conference match of the season. The host Falcons defeated the visiting Lions by the final score of 3-1 (25-18, 17-25, 16-25, 11-25) Wednesday evening in Brubaker Auditorium.

After defeating the Falcons in game one by the final score of 25-18, Messiah bounced right back to take the final three games. As a team the Lions totaled 29 kills. Senior #Danielle Ozment# led the squad with eight kills. For Messiah Lauren Rose tallied 14 of the team's 43 kills.

#Lauren Higgins# put-up 19 assists to lead Albright's offense. Defensively #Morgan Heath# and #Casey McFadden# combined for 24 digs respectively.

Volleyball will look to bounce back next week when they host Lycoming College at 7 p.m. in the Bollman Center.
