READING, Pa. – In an exciting, back and forth game, the Penn State Altoona Lions (3-4) defeated the Albright Lady Lions (0-4) three games to one at the Bollman Center Wednesday night. Altoona was able to push past the Lions despite losing the first game. The scores for all four games were 25-27, 28-26, 25-11 and 26-24.

For the red and white, #Danielle Ozment# totaled 20 kills on the evening. #Alyssa Hoogendoorn# finished with eight, while a handful of Lions ended the night with four kills.

#Lauren Higgins# had 30 assists in the contest, while Ozment totaled 20 digs for the defensive side of things. #Casey McFadden# was right behind her with 19 digs, while #Erin Wentzel# was just behind them with 11.

Three players had double-digit kills to lead the Penn State Altoona offense. Abby VanLuvanee led all Lions with 11, while Chelsea Shaulis and Samantha Link had 10. Kelsie Bumbarger had 30 assists and Jessica Tirko had 39 digs.

The Lady Lions return to action Friday at the Swarthmore Invitational, where they will face Swarthmore College at 4 p.m. and Wesley College at 6 p.m.
