The Albright College volleyball team split a pair of matches in the MAC Crossover tournament, beating Wilkes 3-1 (25-27, 25-20, 25-17, 25-22) and losing to host Delaware Valley 3-0 (18-25, 23-25, 21-25).

The MAC Crossover Challenge featured teams from the Commonwealth facing off against Freedom teams at varying locations around the conference.

After losing a tough opening set, the Lions rallied rallied to beat Wilkes 3-1.

Four Lions had double-digit kills in the victory, led by Christa Mantz's 17 and followed by Kyrsten Stanford (14), Brandy Blimline (10) and Alyssa Hoogendoorn (10).

Setter Morgan Heath had a double-double with 32 assists and 16 digs, while junior Alexa Jones had an impressive 33 digs.

Against Delaware Valley, Mantz added 16 kills and hit .483. She completed a double-double with 14 digs. Jones had 27 digs and Heath added 19 assists.

The Lions are 5-12 and travel to Arcadia for a huge Commonwealth Conference showdown on Tuesday.
