The Albright College women's volleyball team played its final two matches at Muhlenberg's Buttermaker Invitational on Saturday, falling 3-0 to DeSales and 3-1 to the hosts.

The Lions fell 3-0 (15-25, 22-25, 18-25) to DeSales in their first match of the day. Christa Mantz had six kills and Alexa Jones added 20 digs.

Albright recovered to take its opening set against Muhlenberg, but the Mules went on to take a 3-1 (17-25, 25-13, 25-22, 25-18) victory.

Mantz again had a team-high in kills with seven. Erin Wentzel and Jones each had 16 digs, while Laura van Bendegem added four total blocks.

The Lions (0-7) will finally have their home opener on Tuesday, but first face Division II Kutztown, Monday at Pine Grove High School.
