Day Two Results
The Albright College women's swimming team made a move from third to first on the second day of the MAC championships, Saturday in Wilkes-Barre.
The Lions have 423 points, ahead of Widener (415) and Misericordia (396.5).
Amanda Osterlind (4:45.94) and
Liz Muller took the top two places in the 400 IM, with
Aimee Snyder (fifth) and
Kari Keller (sixth) also finishing well.
Gwen Stefan (200 free, 1:58.90) and Keller (100 breast, 1:08.20) also had second place finishes on the day.
Katy Oeste was eighth in the 200 free and
Lauren Cormier (sixth) and
Emily Summers (eighth) placed well in the 200 free.
Kaitlyn Huizing (1:00.66) was third in the 100 back, one spot ahead of teammate
Tricia Janowiak.
Codi Herr (1:00.78) led the way with a fourth place finish in the 100 fly, with
Madison Hauk placing 10th and
Danielle Hassard grabbing 10th place.
In the 800 free relay, Herr,
Aimee Snyder, Osterlind and Stefan were second in 8:05.10. Huizing, Keller, Herr and Janowiak took third in the 200 medley relay (1:51.98).
