YORK, Pa. – Laurel Gingrich can not be stopped at the 2024 Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Swimming Championships being crowned champion in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:56.73 going back to back in the event in the process.
Morgan Stuhltrager picked up another podium finish in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 1:01.65.

Gingrich dashed through the pool in the 200-yard freestyle to win her second event of the 2024 MAC Championships. The 200-yard freestyle time of 1:56.73 is the 6
th fastest time for the event in program history. With the victory, Gingrich becomes the first women's swimmer to go back to back in any event at the MAC Championships since Ashlyn Chermol went back to back in the 200-yard butterfly in 2017 and 2018.
Gingrich is now a three-time MAC Champion winning the 200-yard freestyle twice and the 50-yard freestyle once. Gingrich won the 50 free last night with a time of 24.25.
Stuhltrager turns in another podium finish performance on day two of the championships in the 100-yard butterfly. The senior swimmers time of 1:10.65 was nearly two seconds faster than the 8
th finisher, finishing comfortably on the podium. Stuhltrager took home 7
th last evening in the 200-yard IM recording a time of 2:17.58.
