Results
The Albright College women's swimming team was victorious again on Tuesday night, winning 129-68 at Elizabethtown.
The Lions opened up with the top two places in the 400 medley relay.
Kaitlyn Huizing,
Kari Keller,
Codi Herr and
Adina Gaughran won, with
Amanda Osterlind,
Lauren Cormier,
Liz Muller and
Amanda Fisher placing second.
Sophomore
Gwen Stefan (11:12.81) led a 1-2 finish in the 1000 free, ahead of freshman
Allie Peters (11:53.74).
Junior Herr added two more victories to her impressive season, taking the 200 free (1:58.99) and 100 free (55.93).
Keller was part of two 1-2 finishes, winning the 100 breast (1:12.96) ahead of teammate
Emily Summers. She was second in the 400 IM, behind Osterlind (4:57.76).
The Lions swept the 500 free, with Muller (5:36.41), Cormier and
Gwen Fesmire going 1-2-3. Roy won the 100 fly in 1:08.26.
Albright swam one event as exhibition, with Huizing (1:04.94) turning in the best time in the 100 back.
Cormier, Fesmire, Stefan and
Karley Thompson won the final event, beating Etown in the 400 free relay by .41 seconds.
Albright is 9-3, 7-1 MAC, and hosts King's on Senior Day- the final home meet for Fisher,
Madison Hauk, Keller, Summers and
Emily Weaver.
