The Albright College women's swimming team swept a tri-meet against Hood and Ocean County College on Saturday in the Natatorium, beating the Blazers 79-27 and OCC by a score of 95-9.
Junior
Codi Herr won three individual events for the Lions, while sophomore
Gwen Stefan nearly matched that with two first places and one second place, by a small margin.
Herr took the 200 fly (2:14.16) and 100 free (56.00) to lead Albright. She also won the 100 fly (1:00.10), with teammate
Melanie Roy placing second.
Stefan took first place in both the 200 free (2:02.66) and 500 free (2:25.57). She was second in the 50 free (26.40), losing by .2 seconds to teammate
Tricia Janowiak.
Senior
Kari Keller also had a good day, with three top-two finishes. She won the 400 IM late in the meet, with a time of 5:05.60.
Keller trailed only teammate
Lauren Cormier (1:10.95) in the 100 breast, and place second in the 200 breast to teammate
Liz Muller (2:37.09) by just 0.03 seconds in one of day's photo finishes.

Danielle Hassard got Albright off to a good start, winning the 200 medley relay in 1:57.81.
Sophomore
Amanda Osterlind took the 1650 free (18:35.59), with Muller coming in second.
Adina Gaughran,
Amanda Fisher,
Emily Summers and
Erika McEnany closed the meet with a victory in the 200 free relay. Their time of 1:53.76 just barely beat Hood by .02 seconds.
The Lions (7-3, 5-1 MAC) are back home next Saturday with a meet against Misericordia.
