The Albright College volleyball team swept conference rival Hood on the road, 3-0 (25-17, 25-12, 25-16) on Wednesday.
In a well-balanced effort, three Lions had seven or eight kills, and five registered at least seven digs.
Christa Mantz totaled eight kills and 19 digs to lead the Lions. Freshman
Maddy Greth hit .318 with eight kills and just one error, while adding nine digs.
The Lions hit well as a team, going .283 for the match. They turned in an attack percentage of .385 in the second set, and .306 in the game three clincher.

Caitlin Klotzbach totaled 21 digs. Setter
Morgan Heath totaled eight digs and 21 assists.
The Lions trailed 7-6 in the opening game before going on a 7-1 run to establish a 13-8 lead. Three straight kills from Greth pushed the gap to 21-15 and forced Hood to call timeout.
Albright did not fall behind in game two, running out to an 18-6 lead and stretching that to 25-12 on a service ace by Greth.
The Red and White improve to 10-11, 2-5, and will play two tough opponents- Washington College and Franklin & Marshall- on Saturday in a tri-match in Lancaster.
