The Albright College volleyball team was swept in a tri-match in Lancaster on Saturday, losing to a pair of tough opponents.
The Red and White were defeated by Washington College 3-0 (25-16, 25-20, 25-22), and host Franklin & Marshall 3-0 (25-14, 25-13, 25-11).
Franklin & Marshall had only lost four times all season heading into the day, and reached the 2012 Centennial Conference championship match. Washington College is 17-7 on the year.

Maddy Greth and junior
Marisa Bartone each had a team-high six kills. Greth added three service aces. Freshman
Caitlin Klotzbach added a game-high 15 digs.
The Lions led 20-19 in game two before Washington ran off six straight points to lock up the set. Albright had the third set tied up at 19-19 but again Washington finished strong.
Against F&M, Greth again had a team-best six kills. Klotzbach added 11 digs.
The Lions came in with a fantastic record in tri-matches, having swept events with Alvernia/PSU-Brandywine (Sept.7), King's/Gwynedd-Mercy (Sept. 14) and Manhattanville/King's (Oct. 5). Albright had only dropped two sets over those six victories.
The Lions are 10-13 overall, with four matches remaining and the possibility of a winning season still in play.
Albright hosts Widener on Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the Bollman Center. The Lions' final home match of the season will be the following Tuesday, Oct. 29, vs. Central Penn College.
