Results
The Albright College women's swimming team suffered its first defeat of the season on Wednesday, losing 113-92 to visiting Ursinus College.
Ursinus took the opening 200 medley relay by just .23 seconds.

Julia Barry and
Adina Gaughran swam 1:56.05 to take second place overall.
The Bears then grabbed hard-fought event wins over several of Albright's top swimmers. Ursinus'
Malena Lair Ferrari missed a facility record in the 1000 free by just 1.6 seconds, edging Albright junior
Amanda Osterlind 10:51.27 to 10:53.39.
Ursinus'
Corinne Capodanno then took the 200 free in 1:57.53, ahead of Albright's
Codi Herr (1:58.69). The Bears followed with a 1-2 finish in the 50 free.
Osterlind finally got the Lions in the win column with a first-place performance in the 200 IM, touching in 2:17.92.
Capodanno also took the 100 fly, ahead of second-placed Barry for Albright (1:02.64). The Lions answered with two event wins- Herr in the 100 free (54.86) and Huizing in the 100 back (1:03.21).
Lair Ferrari came within three seconds of the pool record in the 500 free, outlasting Albright's Osterlind (second) and
Gwen Stefan (third).
Albright is 3-1 overall and will travel to Arcadia on Saturday.
