The Albright College volleyball team grabbed two wins on Saturday, beating Gwynedd-Mercy and King's at home.
Albright was hosting a tri-match at the Bollman Center. In the neutral site contest, King's defeated GMC 3-0 (25-20, 25-15, 25-13).
The Lions dominated their first match, sweeping Gwynedd-Mercy 3-0 (25-8, 25-12, 25-12).
Albright held GMC to just three kills and an attack percentage of -.111 for the match. Meanwhile the Lions hit .206 with just six attack errors.
Senior
Christa Mantz had a game-high six kills, while junior
Kyrsten Stanford added four kills and two total blocks.
Morgan Heath had 13 assists while
Jordan Gibson turned in 10 digs.
The Lions followed that up with a 3-1 (25-22, 23-25, 25-16, 25-16 decision over King's.
Mantz again led the way with 14 kills, and added 10 digs and three block assists. Stanford had six block assists.
Freshman
Maddy Greth had eight kills and 12 digs, with classmate
Caitlin Klotzbach adding 19 digs. Heath dished out 26 assists.
The Red and White are 4-7 on the year and will play at Dickinson on Monday night.
