Results
The Albright College women's swimming team won events in every discipline, in a 119-78 road victory at King's on Saturday.
Freshman
Julie McNeil won the 200 IM, in 2:24.75. Junior
Amanda Osterlind took first place in an exhibition 400 IM, with a final time of 4:50.27.
McNeil also won the 100 breast while swimming exhibition, with a time of 1:13.47.
Senior
Codi Herr took first in the 100 fly, in 59.57.
Fellow senior
Tricia Janowiak was the winner in the 100 back (1:04.21).
Albright also took the top two places in every freestyle event.
Adina Gaughran (26.57) and
Gwen Fesmire (27.84) were 1-2 in the 50 free, with
Gwen Stefan (57.25) and
Sam Hand (29.84) doing the same in the 100. Osterlind (2:04.34) and
Liz Muller (2:09.15) led the way in the 200 free.
Kaitlyn Huizing (5:43.58),
Madeline Hudson (5:44.54) and
Danielle Hassard (6:01.65) swept the 500 free; in other distance action, Stefan (11:07.32) and Hand (11:27.30) were top finishers in the 1000 free.
Huizing, McNeil,
Julia Barry, and Herr won the opening 200 medley relay (1:57.85). Herr, Fesmire, Janowiak and Muller had the top exhibition time in the 200 free relay (1:46.04).
Albright (10-1, 9-0) will host Susquehanna next weekend. It will be the final home meet for seniors Fesmire, Herr, Janowiak and
Erika McEnany.
