The Albright College women's swimming team won a tight 105.5-99.5 decision over Susquehanna, concluding their regular season on Senior Day.
Junior
Amanda Osterlind won the 500 free with a time of 5:23.48, and the Lions' lead was enough despite losing the final two events of the day.
It was Senior Day for four graduating Lady Lions who helped the team return to the top of the MAC with championship seasons in 2012 and 2013.
Codi Herr won the 50 free (25.68) and the 100 fly (59.18), while placing second in the 400 free relay.
Tricia Janowiak was second in the 50 free (26.07) and third in the 100 free (57.89). She was also on the second-place 400 free relay team.
Gwen Fesmire placed sixth in the 100 free (1:01.52) and swam in both relay events.
Erika McEnany swam 2:30.52 in the 200 back and was also in both relay events.
Osterlind had a big day for Albright, also taking first place in the 1000 free (10:53.86) and 200 IM (2:17.83).
Also winning for the Lions was
Kaitlyn Huizing, who was first in the 100 back (1:03.48).
Albright (11-1) will have three weeks of preparation for the MAC Championships on Feb. 13-16, where the Lions will be going for a third straight title.
