ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. -- Freshman
Kellie Hill notched a team-high seven kills, but the Albright College volleyball team dropped a 25-19, 25-14, 25-19 non-conference decision to Elizabethtown on Tuesday in Thompson Gymnasium.
Hill finished the match with seven kills in 16 attempts and posted a .250 attack percentage to lead Albright.
Cheyenne Robinett added five kills and
Brandy Blimline chipped in with four kills.
Albright, which fell to 7-16 on the season, also received two kills each from
Claudia Guise,
Nicole Vazquez and
Marisa Bartone.
Guise had 18 assists in directing the Albright offense, while
Caitlin Klotzbach registered a match-high 20 digs. Blimline also had eight digs for the Lions and
Patricia Horgan added five digs.
Elizabethtown, which improved to 9-15 on the season, hit .269 for the match. The Blue Jays were led by Kelci Scannapieco who had 20 kills and recorded a .533 attack percentage.
