GRANTHAM, Pa. -- Senior Amanda Osterlind picked up two victories, but the Albright women's swimming team lost 127-76 at Messiah on Saturday afternoon in a Middle Atlantic Conference meet.

Albright (4-2, 4-1 MAC) fell for the first in conference this season, while Messiah improved to 7-1 overall by winning eight of the 11 events.

Osterlind swam to victory in the 1000-yard freestyle in 10:59.03, just .08 seconds off her best time of the season. Liz Muller placed third in 11:33.35, which was only a second off her season's best.

In the 500-yard freestyle Osterlind's time of 5:25.88 is the fastest she has posted this season, Sam Hand also raced to a season-best time of 5:45.81 to finish in fourth.

Osterlind's time of 2:22.28 put her in the runner-up spot in the 200-yard butterfly.

Muller took second place in the 200-yard individual medley in 2:25.2. Lily Ritter set a new personal standard of 2:31.62 to come in fourth.

Julie McNeil took second in the 200-yard breastsrokein 2:40.62, which shaved three seconds off her best this season and Muller was third in 2:43.35.

Albright is off until Dec.6 when it hosts Wilkes at 2 p.m.
