Head coach Jeff Feiler's squad defeated Geneva 3-2 in walk off fashion to begin their season and earn their skipper his 200th career victory.

Despite being held hitless through three, Albright had chances to score early. Geneva walked the bases loaded in the first and third, but the Lions were unable to capitalize.

Down two in the fifth, it seemed as if the Lions had cut their deficit in half on an RBI single by Max Dundore, but first baseman Gabe Santone was ruled out for not touching third base.

Albright was able to score in the sixth as Nate Peiffer singled in Dundore.

Still down one in the bottom of the ninth with one out, Albright tied the game at two when Evan High singled to drive in pinch runner Nathan Fretz.

Dundore singled to start the tenth and was advanced to second when a sacrifice bunt attempt by John Medvecky was mishandled by the Geneva third baseman. A hit batter loaded the bases for Peiffer, who singled back to the pitcher to drive in the winning run.

The Lions struggled to shake the rust off early in their first game of the season, stranding twelve runners on base.

Jared Neiheiser, Alex Myers, Daniel Louviaux, Zach Graham, Mat Costa, Dylan Price, Aaron Forker and Trey Eberly each pitched an inning for the Lions with Trevor Mastria (2 IP) earning his first collegiate victory.

Albright continues its spring trip playing again tomorrow night at 7:30 in Fort Pierce, Florida.
