Danisha Higgs and sophomore
Oumar Diawara represented the Albright College track team at the 2014 ECAC Outdoor championships in Troy, N.Y.
Diawara placed 17th in the 400 meters on Friday, with a time of 50.55. He was second in his heat.
In the 100 meters, Higgs placed fifth overall with a finals time of 12.13, four one-thousandths of a second out of fourth place. She had clocked in at 12.24 in Thursday's preliminary heats.
Higgs also scored in the 200 meters. She placed sixth with a time of 25.39.
Higgs entered the weekend tied for 13th in the nation with a 100 time of 12.08. Her season-best 200 time of 25.03 was 30th. The top 22 declarations in the nation in each event after this weekend will qualify for next week's NCAA championships.
Higgs, a 2013 All-American, qualified for the NCAA outdoor championships in both 2011 and 2013, placing in the top-10 last season in both the 100m and 200m.
