SUSQUEHANNA, Pa. – Men's and women's track and field competed in the final regular season meet of the indoor season taking aim at the Susquehanna Invitational. The next time the Lions return to action will be the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Championships.
Meet Results
Men's Results:
Tyhee Pridgen won his heat in the 60m dash with a time of 7.36. The time was the 26
th fastest out of 61 total competitors. The time was just .7 tenths of a second off the MAC standard.
Cameron Myers and
Jamari Leo also participated in the same event earning times of 7.50 and 7.59, respectively.
In the 800m
Evan Eisenhardt took 18
th out of 50 total runners in the race finishing with a time of 2:06.66.
Pridgen saved his best effort for the end in the 200m. Pridgen took seventh overall with a time of 23.58. The time will send Pridgen to the MAC Championships later this month earning an MAC qualifying standard.
Darnell Turner rounded out the men's team in action today participating in the high jump. Turner cleared a height of 1.78 to take ninth overall in the event.
Women's Results:
Yonique Reynolds and
Standey Sauveur took to the track competing in the 60m. the duo finished back to back with times of 9.01 and 9.20, respectively.
Alysaa DeVita placed second in her heat in the 400m which placed her in 19
th overall. DeVita's time of 1:07.35 was just off the time needed for a MAC qualifying standard.
Reynolds returned to the track and won her heat in the 200m. Reynolds won the heat with a time of 29.46 which was good for 18
th overall.
Maizy Aikey rounded out the day in the 3000m earning a time of 12:07.71. The time was good for 19
th overall in the race.

The Lions will begin preparations for the Middle Atlantic Conference Championships which are set to take place on February 27 and 28. The Championships will be held on the campus of Alvernia.
