READING, Pa. -- Senior Rick Sutton and sophomore Ken Richardson each won two individual events and added a relay victory to lead the Albright men's swim team to a 127-57 victory over King's on Saturday on Senior Day in the Albright Natatorium.

With the win, Albright finished the home portion of its schedule with a 6-0 record and ran its home winning streak to 27 straight wins. The Lions improved to 7-2-1 overall on the season and 7-1-1 against competition against the Middle Atlantic Conference.

Sutton, Alex Bauer, Tyler Huizing, Drew Leahy and Chris Longworth all took to the Albright Natatorium water for the final time on Saturday. With the victory against King's, the group finished with a 27-1 record at home during their four years.

Sutton captured the 200 freestyle and the 500 freestyle, while Richardson claimed the 200 IM and the 100 freestyle events.

Sutton finished first in the 200 freestyle in a time of 1:48.68 and posted a season-best time of 4:51.83 in winning the 500 freestyle.

Richardson finished first in the 200 IM in a season-best time of 2:02.25 and later captured the 100 freestyle in 51.95.

Sutton and Richardson teamed with Bauer and Matt Runtas to win the 200 medley relay in a season-best time of 1:37.52. The team narrowly missed breaking the Albright pool record of 1:37.49 in the event.

Albright won all nine events in which it did not compete in exhibition format.

Jayce Temperine captured the 1650 freestyle in a season-best time of 18:30.14, while Leahy also posted a season-best time of 58.80 in winning the 100 backstroke.

The Lions also received victories from Runtas in the 50 freestyle (21.86) and Bauer in the 100 butterfly (54.16).

Albright will conclude its regular season on Jan. 24 when it travels to Susquehanna. The Middle Atlantic Conference Championship meet will be held on Feb. 12-15 in York, Pa.
