WILKES-BARRE, Pa. -- Junior Sam Hand won three individual events and Albright earned a split of its tri-meet with host King's and Lebanon Valley on Saturday.

Albright defeated Lebanon Valley 113-87, but lost to King's 106-93.

Hand led the Lions as she finished first in the 1000 freestyle, the 200 freestyle and the 500 freestyle. She finished first in the 1000 free in a time of 11:38.07, placed first in the 200 free in 2:08.43 and was first to touch the wall in the 500 free in 5:42.25.

The Lions also received a pair of second-place finishes from Christine Allison. She was second in the 50 freestyle in 26.61, and came back to place second in the 100 freestyle in 59.65.

Allison also teamed with Julia Barry, Corrine Freeland and Dayne Martin to place second in the 200 medley relay in 2:05.22.

Barry notched a second-place finish individually in the 100 butterfly as she touched the wall in 1:04.25.

Allie Peters earned a second-place showing for the Lions in the 400 IM as she finished the race in 5:25.26.
