DALLAS, Pa. – Corrine Freeland, Sam Hand and Julia Barry each captured individual event titles, but the Albright women's swim team lost to Misericordia 151-96 on Friday.

Freeland finished first in the 100 breaststroke, Hand was first in the 1000 freestyle and Barry claimed the top spot in the 200 butterfly to lead the Lions.

Freeland finished the 100 breaststroke in 1:18.31, Hand was first in the 1000 freestyle in 11:47.79 and Barry touched the wall first in the 200 butterfly in a time of 2:23.20.

Hand also finished second in the 200 butterfly in a time of 2:30.22 and Freeland placed second in the 200 breaststroke in a season-best mark of 2:51.27.

Christine Allison also posted a second-place finish for the Lions as she completed the 50 freestyle in a season-best time of 26.49, while Hannah Schrock finished second in the 100 freestyle in a season-best time of 59.24.

The Albright 200 medley relay team of Schrock, Freeland, Dayne Martin and Allison finished second overall in 2:04.22. The Lions 400 freestyle relay team of Allie Peters, Schrock, Allison and Hand also earned a second-place showing as they completed the event in a time of 4:00.74.

Albright will conclude its regular season on Saturday (Jan. 16) when it hosts Ursinus at 1 p.m. in the Albright Natatorium.
